A Woman in a Cream Blouse With Color Cards

Hi, I’m Renée Shapiro.

An artist at heart, I am a painter, drawer, and passionate color analyst. After becoming a widow, I decided to move to New York City where I took the opportunity to reinvent myself. I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology where I earned a certificate in Image Consulting and Color Analysis. I became so fascinated with the way color plays such an integral role in our lives and the way we see ourselves – and have seen the impact with my own eyes.

I facilitated a color analysis session with a group of women at Gilda’s Club, a community organization for people living with cancer. After the session, I could visibly see the impact color analysis had on them – it dramatically improved their mood, it brought their personalities to the forefront and gave them a gleaming boost of confidence. Shortly after this, I went to Kings County Hospital and led a session with both men and women and witnessed the same outstanding results.

Today, I am driven to share my expertise with men and women and bring awareness to the power of color. What I love most about color analysis is that it helps people look and feel their best. My work gives me the opportunity to collaborate with others, while helping them improve the way they see themselves – and there’s nothing more rewarding than that.
